    No, Repair Estimate is an online tool only, which means you can access it from any PC, anywhere, with a valid login.

  • How do I create a profile with labour rates and discounts?

    Go to 'My Account' > 'Profile Builder' > complete the fields > press 'Save'.

  • Can I amend my labour rates if I have already created my estimate?

    Yes, you can manually update your labour rates in Repair Estimate. Go to:
    'Calculations' > 'Labour Rates and Discounts' > 'Apply'
    This will be saved to that individual estimate but will not automatically update the profile.

  • How do I add a contact to my vehicle case?

    Open your vehicle by clicking 'Full Vehicle Details'  > 'Customer Information' tab > complete the customer info and press 'Save'.

  • Is there an address book?

    No, you can add 2 sets of customer information to a vehicle case but this is not stored in an address book.

  • Can I send/receive vehicle cases?

    You can send a report by exporting to PDF Export and emailing the report.

  • How do I access standard system reports?

    There are no standard reports, however you can build a bespoke report using the PDF Builder. Please refer to section 7 in the 'How to complete a simple estimate guide'.

  • How do I create a PDF report?

    Go to 'My Account' > 'PDF Reports' > upload a logo > tick the values you wish to display > complete the company details > add a Header/Footer > select assigned PDF fields > press 'Save'.

  • What information can be included on the PDF reports?

    Customer logo, Company details, Glass's Values, Header/Footer, Vehicle Data, Tech and Spec, Options, Customer Information, Images, Repair Lines, Part Lists, Repair Costs summary.

  • How do I print a report?

    Select the vehicle using the tick box in Open Valuations and click Print Vehicle Report button.

    Or open the vehicle using Full Vehicle Details and click the Print Vehicle Report button - please refer to section 7 in the 'How to complete a simple estimate guide'.

  • How do I calculate an estimate?

    Your estimate will automatically calculate as you add parts, to complete the calculation click the Calculator icon. Please refer to section 5 in the 'How to complete a simple estimate guide'.

  • How can I see the summary / breakdown of my estimate?

    Click the Calculator icon and you will be presented with a calculation report that shows the repair lines, labour rates etc… Please refer to section 5 in the 'How to complete a simple estimate guide'.

    Yes, you can add an opinion time and also include an explanation.

    Double click on the part you wish to register and amend the labour hours field, click the ! Icon to enter the explanation.

    Yes, Double click on the part you wish to overtype and amend the Price [£] field.

  • Where can I see the Part number?

    When you hover over the graphic the part number is displayed, If you select the part the part number is displayed in the Part section, Part numbers are also on the Calculation Reports.

  • Can I complete an estimate on a car over 20 years old, LCV over 12 years old etc…

    Yes, although you will need to manually add the vehicle as an 'Unqualified Vehicle' and manually pick the vehicle in Repair Estimate.

  • Can I export my estimate to an XML file?

    yes, you can export your estimate to an XML file by selecting the vehicle using the tick box in Open Valuations and click the Export to XML button.
